About the Presenter:
Elaine Holt, MD is "The Doctor Next Door" who owns and operates a solo Internal Medicine practice serving her local community in Bergen County, New Jersey. She completed her medical residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City after which she practiced in North Carolina and Virginia. After several years away, she returned to her home state of New Jersey in 2004 to open her practice with the belief that the doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of the practice of medicine. Committed to personalized patient care and unrelenting patient advocacy, Dr. Holt has managaed to build and sustain a solo medical practice despite the national trend to corporatize medicine.
