BCPWN December Friday Luncheon:

Elizabeth Johnson, Owner &
Care Planning Consultant for Senior Care Talks Challenges and Triumphs in Business

Friday, December 9, 2022

12n - 2pm

Join us at Allendale Bar & Grill in The Connelly Room for a plated lunch, cash bar, networking and presentation by Elizabeth Johnson, CEO/President of Always Best Care of Bergen & Passaic County.

Liz is a BCPWN Member and active participant in our association. At the December lunch, she will discuss challenges she's faced in her career that have led her to thrive as the owner of her own business.

This is the last lunch of 2022! Bring a friend or colleague and make merry with BCPWN!

About the Presenter: Liz Johnson is the owner and principal care planning consultant for Always Best Care of Bergen & Passaic County.  She has a business degree in marketing from Fordham University in New York and more than 20 years of health care and patient/caregiver advocacy experience. Liz has a strong desire to help people who are concerned about quality of care for their elderly loved ones. As a hands-on manager, she is focused on ensuring that those under our care get the best possible care while remaining in their own home. Typically, she works with adult children and relatives of aging parents who need to determine the best path forward as their parents’ needs change. Liz meets with each family individually to learn about their elderly parent, the family and their needs.

She has the experience of advocating for close family members as they dealt with health challenges associated with chronic illness and aging. Liz experienced the frustrations of interacting with the healthcare system. Her overarching concern was to make sure that her loved ones were treated with dignity and respect. She benefited from the extensive experience in working with healthcare professionals on a peer-to-peer basis rather than a doctor-patient basis. This made a difference for her family members and she developed a passion for ensuring that other people in her situation could have access to the same degree of advocacy and support. Liz wanted them that to know their love ones were cared for with dignity and respect.

This event is limited to 25 attendees. We will open a waiting list as well.

Cancellations can be accepted in writing up to 48 business hours prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after that point.
