In her work with NY Waterway, Jennifer shapes the internal and external communication messaging, that expresses the company’s values, for the transportation service which carries over 32,000 passengers a day between New Jersey and New York City. As the company spokesperson, Jennifer represents the organization in television and radio interviews. She is also the writer, producer and appears in company commercials that air on broadcast television and internet marketing campaigns.
The company employs close to 400 employees which Jennifer helps keep connected as the editor of the bi-monthly newsletter, Ferry People. She also produces and hosts a customer video newsletter, Ferry Minute. In addition, Jennifer, helps promote community partnerships with local businesses and events through Facebook Live posts.
About the Presenter:Jennifer Madden Schuck joined NY Waterway following an 18-year career as a broadcast journalist. She started working professionally on-air while a junior in college for one of the first hyper-local news channels in the region owned at the time by Time Warner Cable. She then spent nearly a decade at NY 1 News located in Manhattan. Jennifer has covered everything from breaking news to live election night and special event coverage; as well as NFL and NHL Championship games to red carpet events and lifestyle reports. Jennifer also appeared on WNBC New York, as well as many local radio stations, as a traffic reporter.
