One sector that has seen a significant boom during the pandemic is that having to do with pets -- puppies, in particular. The Washington Post indicated that, "Shelters, rescues and breeders report increased demand as Americans try to fill voids with canine companion" as of August 2020. Think about how many of your own friends, relatives, and neighbors have a new furry friend in their own families!

For our February breakfast, BCPWN Member, Blayne Cernak, Owner of Riley and Mee, LLC will discuss the recent puppy boom and share her company's tips and insights on everything puppy related. Whether you've just adopted a new dog, are thinking of fostering, or just generally love pets, this is the Zoom for you!

Three points that will be touched upon include:

Getting "in tune" with your puppy's needs
Redirecting the puppy
Preventing social anxiety and possible aggression
