Tips to Achieving Optimal Health

with Dr. Valerie Gershenhorn

Join us at Salt of the Earth Salt Cave!

Obtaining tools for attaining optimal health and wellbeing (nutrition, sleep, exercise, toxin removal, discovery of hidden infections, importance of community and connection) have become all the more important these days. Join Board Certified Dermatologist/Integrative Medicine Specialist and Root Cause Practitioner, Dr. Valerie Gershenhorn, for an evening of health and wellbeing at Salt of the Earth Salt Cave in nearby Chestnut Ridge, NY.

In a short presentation, Dr. Gershenhorn will give everyone a roadmap to simple techniques and tools that will up-level their health, teach people how to get rid of the interferences that keep the body stuck, and will show how the body has innate healing powers that can be unlocked with some simple measures. You'll walk away with a multi- layered approach to health and easy to implement tools that will empower you to start or continue their health journey.

THEN --- the wellness journey continues as we enter the salt cave! Halotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that allows the body to utilize aerosolized salt as a method of natural healing.  At Salt of the Earth, you are surrounded by thousands of pounds of pink Himalayan salt on the walls and floor, in an environment that recreates the microclimate of naturally occurring subterranean salt caves (speleotherapy).  We will sit socially distanced in the Salt Cave for a 45-minute session.  Curious about salt cave therapy? About the Presenter: Dr. Valerie Gershenhorn is a board certified dermatologist and integrative medicine/root cause practitioner.  She graduated top 5% in her medical school class and completed an internal medicine residency and chief year prior to deciding on dermatology as a career.  She received a scholarship to Dr. Andrew Weil’s integrative medicine program.  Dr. Gershenhorn believes that skin health is intimately tied to internal health, specifically gut health.  Her passion is guiding people toward optimal health by discovering root cause issues that cause dis-ease in the body.  Her mission is to educate and coach health participants to understand the power of the innate healing mechanisms of the human body.  Empowering people to truly understand how to walk their bodies toward healing is her professional goal.
