BCPWN Member Exclusive: The Gratitude Exchange

November is the month of giving thanks, and BCPWN wants to once again celebrate and show gratitude for our membership in a special way.  The Gratitude Exchange -- a gesture of camaraderie, cheer, and support from one BCPWN member to another. 

Developed and rolled out last year by BCPWN Members Cat Garruto and Lisa Pisano, the program comes at a time when we all need it the most -- to show compassion, the human touch, and a festive spirit.

Throughout the month of November, each registered member will surprise a randomly assigned recipient with a Gratitude Basket as a way to boost morale, network, and inspire deeper human connections with each other.  Plus, who doesn't love a little surprise for all of their hard work these days?!

Here's how it works:

• Join us on Wednesday, 11/10 at 7:30pm for a social Zoom get together, where those registered will be partnered with a fellow BCPWN Member who will be her "gratitude recipient".
• Everyone on the zoom will have a chance to share their likes/dislikes (i.e. allergies, preferences, etc.) so that baskets can be customized and personal to the recipient.
• Members mutually make arrangements to give/receive before 11/30 -- the idea is to spend 5-10 minutes socially distanced on the doorstep to connect a bit and enjoy a human exchange.
• There is no fee to register for the event on 11/10!  Once registrants are partnered up, it is simply whatever you decide to fill your basket with.  We're recommending a $30-$40 basket value, and that members include some of your business cards and company information for purposes of networking.
• The group of Gratitude Exchangers will get together via Zoom in early December to reconvene on how the experience went for everyone.
