May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, and the theme is "Back to Basics." After the last two years of pandemic living, many people are realizing that stress, isolation, and uncertainty have taken a toll on their well-being.
Join BCPWN for an evening of networking, wellness, and a moderated discussion with a panel of women business owners in the mental health, wellness and finance fields. How do each of these areas intersect with mental health? You'll have to attend to find out!
Dr. Wendy Morris of Soulshine Family Wellness Center at Plasker Family Chiropractic will be providing complimentary adjustments, and light refreshments will be served.
Meet the Panelists:
Denise Ardito, LCSW -- Psychotherapist/ Clinical Director, Healing Connections Counseling Center, Ramsey, NJ
Denise is an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in New Jersey and is a psychotherapist, intake coordinator, and founder of Healing Connections Counseling Center, LLC. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University in 2001 and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College in 2003 and has been practicing in the field ever since. Denise is also a NJ Certified School Social Worker and is certified to provide Clinical Supervision through the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) to other therapists and those seeking licensure in the state of New Jersey. She had a small private practice for the past 16 years while working in schools before launching fully into private practice in 2016. She began Healing Connections Counseling Center, LLC in November 2019 in hopes that she and her staff could help service more people in the community. Denise is also a graduate of The Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies, Inc. and is a certified Psychoanalyst.

Dr. Wendy Morris is a practitioner who strives to be your partner in healing and support you on your path to greater well-being. Miri Upton, CRPC CRPS -- Financial Advisor
Miri is a dedicated Financial Advisor, working with individuals, families, and business owners to organize and simplify their financial lives. With a focus on education and empowerment, she is passionate about providing tools to help fulfill their hopes and dreams.

She has enjoyed taking on new challenges and responsibilities throughout her career, including positions with Wells Fargo Advisors, Smith Barney and PNC Investments. She currently holds Series 7 & 66 Registrations, Life, Health & Accident Insurance Licenses and has received the CRPC® and CRPS® designations.
A native of Bergen County, NJ, she lives in Mahwah with her husband and daughter and serve as a Director of the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is also passionate about supporting our community, and volunteer with several local non-profits.
