BCPWN is pleased to present a special discussion for our October First Friday Luncheon: Women’s Health & Wellness Expert Panel: What you need to know in your 40’s and beyond to optimize your health.
Our three experts, Jill Cruz, Dr. Carly Gossard, & Dr. Christine Jernee (all women business owners!) will discuss a variety of hot topics from managing hormones throughout perimenopause and menopause to pelvic floor physical therapy (it’s more than just kegels!) to optimizing your health thru chiropractic care, so we can all understand how to better care and advocate for ourselves.
A Question/Answer period will follow the presentation.
About the Panelists:
Jill Cruz is the CEO and Founder of With Your Nature Wellness & Weight Loss. She and her team help professional women over 40 feel more vibrant and healthy and move through life with confidence and ease. She has a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and is a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist and a Certified Big Leap Coach. She is on a mission to guide women to achieve their wildest dreams for their health while loving the food they eat and the life they live.
Dr. Carly Gossard is a board certified orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist. Early in her career, she recognized the lack of specialized care in women's health and began her training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She opened Empowered Pelvic Health in 2019 with the mission to provide high quality, one-on-one therapy specializing in bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction. A large portion of her practice focuses on post-menopausal considerations including but not limited to urinary/fecal incontinence, prolapse and painful penetration. Carly and her team believe that every woman deserves to live leak and pain-free at any stage of life.

Dr. Christine Jernee has been in chiropractic practice for over 25 years, the last 12 in Wyckoff. She is the only chiropractor in Bergen County who is Board Certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics and Pregnancy. She sees people of all ages and abilities, from the triathlete to those with special needs. The focus of her practice has always been womens health and pediatric care. Dr. Jernee has 3 sons, one with special needs. He was the inspiration for her pediatric specialty. Being in the 50+ age group has given her a new appreciation for the challenges women face as they age, and her care helps to regain and maintain proper posture, flexibility, strength, and balance.
This event is limited to 25 attendees. We will open a waiting list as well.
