BCPWN May First Friday Luncheon: Women's Wellness Hour
Friday, May 2, 2025
12:00pm - 2:00pm at Body Positive Works, Saddle River, NJ
Kickoff Mental Health Awareness Month with BCPWN & Body Positive Works: Center for Mind Body Balance
Melanie Struble, LCSW, LCADC, Owner of Body Positive Works and BCPWN welcome you to this hour of wellness, followed by lunch, designed to support you as you unwind, rest and reset. This transformative practice focuses highly on the individual experience, with emphasis on our uniqueness in body, mind and heart.
Intentionally give yourself permission to unwind, decompress and come back to your true self in this gentle, supportive space. Learn how to identify stress in your body, and release it in a safe and supportive way. We will move through gentle yoga poses and somatic movements that will invite you to release tension and create space within the body, allowing you to move and breathe more freely.
Find ease as you are led through a simple guided meditation, intentionally giving yourself permission to journey inward and come back to your true self in this gentle and supportive space.
Our hour together in community will conclude with a crystal bowl sound bath, leaving you rested and ready. We are so looking forward to this special hour of reconnection, and to supporting you on your wellness journey.
No yoga experience necessary. Arrive just as you are.
Lunch to be served immediately following this practice.
Led by Amanda Yeu, Director of Yoga, Body Positive Works: Center for Mind Body Balance
