We invite you to an afternoon of connection, insight, and of course, networking:

Making Mental Health a Priority for Busy (and Exhausted) Women

Facilitated by psychotherapist, Lisa D. Pisano, MS, MEd, LAC, NCC this thoughtfully designed experience will explore the intersection of mindfulness, intentional living, and emotional well-being. Through a blend of guided discussion, audience engagement, and reflective practice, participants will gain both perspective and practical tools to support their mental health in meaningful ways.

This dynamic session will include:

  • Practical strategies for integrating mindfulness into everyday life
  • Honest conversations about burnout, overwhelm, and emotional bandwidth
  • Accessible tools and resources you can actually use
  • Attendee participation and shared reflection
  • A calming guided imagery experience to help you reset and recharge

Because tending to your mental health isn’t a luxury—it’s essential.

About the Presenter: Lisa D. Pisano, MS, MEd, LAC, NCC is a staff psychotherapist at A Work of Heart Counseling in Oradell, NJ.

Lisa earned her M.Ed in School and Mental Health Counseling from William Paterson University as a mid-life career changer, and can appreciate the pivots and transitions our lives can take us – it’s all a learning journey! Prior to becoming a therapist, Lisa held a 20+ year career in fashion/lifestyle/luxury marketing, holding an MS in Direct Marketing from New York University. She attended undergrad at Fordham University.

Lisa prides herself on showing up to her clients - who range from young children (ages 4-11) to perinatal/perimenopausal women - as a compassionate, authentic, trauma-informed therapist who takes a person-centered approach to her work with them. 

She has experience working in depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD (adult and child), attachment disorders, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder and utilizes a variety of approaches in treatment, including play therapy, somatic therapy/mindfulness, and creative counseling techniques with both children and adults and keep a safe, soft and comfortable therapy room appropriate for all ages.  

She is also the Executive Director of Bergen County Professional Women's Network, a board member of Northern Highlands Regional High School's Music and Performing Arts Parents Association, and a Girl Scout Leader.
