Learn. Network. Grow.

Our monthly event offerings include a more formal luncheon at the top of the month and a mid-month casual breakfast meet up. Both events provide ample networking and educational opportunities, with top-level speakers brought in from major corporations, along with our very own BCPWN members serving as presenters. We're delighted to also offer complimentary private events to our membership along with special event sip and shops, happy hours and health and wellness outings at local establishments.

See what events are coming up soon - we're looking forward to seeing you.

    BCPWN Monthly Pods 2025 -- Session 2

    **Registration Opened thru June 15th**

It is strongly encouraged that you only join PODS if you can make the commitment to meet up/engage monthly -- it is only fair this way to all involved.

    -Complimentary for Members-

The BCPWN PODS Program launched in January of 2021 with 20 members participating.  It was a fresh approach to forging deeper connections within the BCPWN community that stemmed from a member suggestion.

Our 2025 Session 1 PODS boasted a record of 31 participants!!! PODS has become quite popular with our members and we are so thrilled to offer this membership perk.

As a result of the positive feedback and success of previous PODS Sessions, our hope was realized -- that participants will utilize their time together to network with one another, share resources, provide support, and even socialize -- and we're delighted for the return of PODS for our BCPWN members as an exclusive benefit.

The Pods Program is optional, and is meant to complement regular BCPWN programming which will continue throughout 2025.

    Here's how it works:

    • If you'd like to participate in a pod, register via this Google Form, by June 15th. **This is the due date to register by -- there is no Zoom or initial meeting on this date** By completing the Google Form, you are registered. There is nothing more to do :)

    • This session will run July 1 - December 31, 2025.

    • The PODS program is complimentary to BCPWN Members in good standing. Be sure your membership is up to date or join officially here.

    • PODS members will take it upon themselves to decide how/when to meet (i.e. via zoom, socially distanced in-person, via conference call) each month. We've heard that some PODS met each month at a different restaurant for lunch, while others did a monthly 8am phone call, and others met to walk once a month.  The possibilities are endless! Full details will be explained on the introductory email.

    • NEW for Session 2 --- we are grouping participants based on their preferred availability to meet. PODS only works well with FULL participation of all PODS attendees. For this reason, we're having folks select what time they are available and will group members accordingly.

    • BCPWN will provide Pods with suggested monthly themes and topics to explore. These will vary from physical experiences (i.e. ways to get moving together) to Mastermind topics.

    • BCPWN will periodically check in with Pod members over the mini session period to see how things are going. It is strongly encouraged that you only join PODS if you can make the commitment to meet up/engage monthly -- it is only fair this way to all involved.

    • There is no fee to participate in PODS --- this is a membership perk :)

BCPWN Exclusive: Summer Sip and Stitch Event with Embroidery Babes

    Wednesday, July 16th  -- 7pm-9pm
    Exclusive Event for BCPWN Community

    MacMurphy's Irish Pub, outdoor patio
    8 Godwin Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ

Enjoy a complimentary drink while you try your hand at embroidery! (No experience necessary)

**Must register to attend. No Walk-Ins for this event.**

    About the workshop:

Embroidery Babes owner, Michelle Fleischer will teach you beginners stitching techniques and share her secrets on how to use embroidery to decorate clothing and accessories. You will be provided a canvas pouch or tote and learn how to customize it with designs such as hearts, stars, peace signs, smiley face, initials and more. This is the PERFECT workshop for beginners as no experience is necessary. You will leave with a new skill, a handmade item you can use again and again, and have a fun night out! Includes a drink on the house from MacMurphys and we encourage you to purchase food & drinks to support this women owned local business!

    What People are Saying:

"Michelle was so sweet and patient and made the entire night a delight! Being able to have a girls night, glass of wine and leave with a new hobby is a perfect night in my book! Highly recommend!"

"Such a fun and unique experience for a girls night! It's a lot easier than I expected and now I want to embroider everything"

About Embroidery Babes: While suffering from secondary infertility, owner Michelle Fleischer discovered how hand embroidery gave her an outlet to be creative and reduce her anxiety. After having her second child through IVF and becoming an embroidery addict, she launched Embroidery Babes and hasn't stopped stitching since!

A former corporate trainer, her true passion is now sharing her love for embroidery with others through teaching workshops at local businesses, corporate team building events, house parties, women's organizations and more (we're based in Bergen County but also travel). Participants have gotten hooked as well, with many sharing how it's given them a new hobby and provided therapeutic benefits. Example projects include embroidering your child's name on a denim jacket or stitching a loved one's handwriting on the chest of a sweatshirt. Embroidery Babes has been featured in New Jersey Monthly, 201 Magazine and News12 New Jersey.

Embroidery Babes also offers a range of custom and specialty clothing & accessories from hand embroidery and beading to appliqués and patches. Visit embroiderybabes.com to shop and learn more about joining or hosting an event.
