Last night we gathered more than 50 people
to celebrate Bergen County Professional Women's Network's 3rd anniversary. It struck me when I could not quiet the crowd to announce door prizes that maybe I should take that as a positive sign. People were talking.
People were networking
. Maybe I'm just not an effective public speaker (see our event - Speak Like a Pro
), but I think that our members get it
. They know the power of getting and giving business referrals.
Women come to BCPWN events to learn from our speakers and from each other. I mentioned it last night - I am most proud of this group of phenomenal women because they are making business happen
for themselves and for fellow members.
So, in our third year, I challenge all of you to make it part of your daily business to actively refer, connect, brainstorm
. Let us know how it goes. There is nothing more rewarding than to know BCPWN is working.
It is said that we create our own luck. Make BCPWN's third year a charm
