Last night we gathered more than
50 people to celebrate Bergen County Professional Women's Network's 3rd anniversary. It struck me when I could not quiet the crowd to announce door prizes that maybe I should take that as a positive sign. People were
talking. People were
networking. Maybe I'm just not an effective public speaker (see our event -
Speak Like a Pro), but I think that
our members get it. They know the power of getting and giving business referrals.
Women come to BCPWN events to learn from our speakers and from each other. I mentioned it last night - I am most proud of this group of phenomenal women because they are
making business happen for themselves and for fellow members.
So, in our third year, I challenge all of you to make it part of your daily business to actively
refer, connect, brainstorm and
collaborate. Let us know how it goes. There is nothing more rewarding than to know BCPWN is working.
It is said that we create our own luck.
Make BCPWN's third year a charm.
